Dessire and Drew’s engagement session in Hollywood, CA was one of my favorite engagement session of the year. Fellow Crossfitters, they wanted a few images of them doing one of their favorite things… We started at their home box (that’s what we call Crossfit gyms) Crossfit High Voltage.
Next we headed down to the Light Pole’s at LACMA. I had not shot there yet so it was fun to shoot somewhere new. Before dark we took a little time to shoot some portraits on the streets of Hollywood. To my surprise I was only asked for a permit 1 time, wow!!! For those of you who have ever taken an off camera flash down to Hollywood you’ll understand how amazing only being asked one time is.

What an awesome collection of images… so personal for this couple! I LOVE that they incorporated one of their hobbies into the shoot —- yah, rock on fellow Crossfitters!
